INDUSTRIAL
CONCRETE FLOORS
Pavimentos
We have success stories that are more than 15 years old. We have more than 100,000 m2 of pavements with different systems (steel fiber, rod, electro welded mesh) nationwide.
Polishing, Salt and Pepper, or Gravel
A high gloss floor is the result of applying diamonds of different hardness with high power and speed machines to new or old concrete, leaving it with a very aesthetic finish, similar to porcelain tile or marble.
Abrasion resistance is increased and maintenance and artificial lighting consumption is reduced.
Colored Concrete
In the market it has become very fashionable to add an integral color to the concrete with which the floors are made, obtaining a great variety of appearances and results in our spaces. Colored concrete is a material, based on 100% natural, economical, ecological, resistant and durable components, which combined with other processes such as high gloss can give incredible results.
FF (Floor Flatness) and FL (Floor Levelness) measurement
FF (Floor Flatness)
The variable profile controlled by the FF value (defined in ASTM E1155) is the increase in curvature at every 600 mm.
FL (Floor Levelness)
The variable profile controlled by FL is the increase in slope over 3 m.
COATINGS
Acrylics
A very good option for floors that have suffered considerable damage either due to the high traffic and work to which they were subjected, since a repair with an acrylic coating offers great resistance and a good quality finish.
Epoxy
This type of floor is quick-setting, monolithic and integral, without joints. With excellent mechanical resistance to constant traffic, abrasion, compression, traction and elongation at break. Designed to withstand chemical spills, thermal shocks, impacts and be self-extinguishing.
They provide our clients with high security, durability, total quality, savings and low maintenance. Our workforce is specialized and is in constant training. We have a wide variety of systems to provide customized solutions.
Antistatic
They are floors that release static to avoid overloading some equipment.
Omegatop
It is a mixture that we use to fill joints.
POST TENSIONED FLOORS
Post-tensioning, a "proactive" method, compresses the concrete to a value higher than the stresses that occur in the most unfavorable combination of actions, neutralizing the traction caused by drying shrinkage, thermal gradients and traffic and/or static loads; Consequently, cracks and fissures are considerably reduced.
Post-tensioned Bonded
The steel of the post-tensioned cables is adhered to the concrete using Grout injections. The cables used can be single-strand or multi-strand type with 0.5" or 0.6" diameter strands. This system requires an injection of Grout inside the ducts that house the strands after tensioning.
Unbonded Post-tensioned
This system is gradually tensioned from the first day of casting. Its advantage lies in the high resistance capacity for large loads. However, if a cut is required in the slab, it will be necessary to call the installer to carry out the tensioning again.
Roads
At Post-tensioned Pavements we have success stories that are more than 15 years old. We have more than 100,000 m2 of pavements with different systems (steel fiber, rod, electrowelded mesh) nationwide.
Hangares
Polishing, Installation of coatings or installation of concrete floor in different systems. These are some options that we have executed for the hangars of different clients.
MAINTENANCE
Joint Sealing
In the perimeter insulation joints or with the columns where there will be no forklift traffic, a flexible sealant SL1, sonomeric 1 or sikaflex can be used. Taking into account that it will elongate or shorten with the movement of the slab and this will be covered by the cover of the registers.
Joint cutting
This joint can be cut with a disc and preferably 3 or 4 weeks after casting, it must be taken into account that this joint will open considerably so it will be filled and maintained for at least the first 90 days.
Joint repair
Process by which an old or bad seal is removed and exchanged for a new one.
Roughing
Process in which the floor is lowered in a matter of mm.
